INVESTMENTS IN CHANGE
In addition to the grants the Cherokee Preservation Foundation makes to high-quality, short-term programs and projects, the Foundation pursues opportunities to help make systemic changes that will have a positive, long-term impact on the EBCI and the surrounding seven-county region. Sometimes the Foundation identifies excellent program opportunities that it brings to the attention of pertinent local leaders — sometimes it brings together potential partners, provides grants and identifies other possible resources — often it does all of these.
