Instructions for Grant Applications

See the Calendar and read through the Grant Guidelines, Application, Grant Work Plan and Proposed Budget Form carefully. The Sample Grant Work Plan will help you complete your own Grant Work Plan.

The Cherokee Preservation Foundation will send an acknowledgement that we have received your proposal. No faxed or e-mailed applications will be accepted. Completed grant applications may be mailed, couriered or hand-delivered to the following address:

Small Grant Application Form
in Microsoft Word

This form allows you to download the application, save it to your hard drive, fill in fields using your Word program on your computer and then print the completed form. If you prefer to print out the blank application and fill it out by hand, that is also acceptable.

Large Grant Application Form

Proposed Budget Form

This two-page form is a required part of both the small or the large grant application. Download the form, save it to your hard drive, fill in fields using either your Word or Excel program on your computer, and then print the completed form. If you prefer to print out the blank form and fill it out by hand, that is also acceptable.

Grant Work Plan

Part One of this form is a required part of both the small or the large grant application. Download the form, save it to your hard drive, fill in fields using your Word program on your computer and then print the completed form. You must complete Part Two when your project is complete. If you prefer to print out the blank form and fill it out by hand, that is also acceptable.
